What to Wear: Summertime Family Party

Being the over-planner and fashion-obsessed girl that I am, I love planning outfits to wear. Whether it is for a date night, a shopping trip, or a baseball outing, I thoroughly enjoy planning out my ensemble for the occasion.

Now that I have gotten out my over-crazed obsessions for all of you, my next event to plan is our annual “family picnic.” This means a day filled with outdoor activities in a local park. Since the weather is still muggy and hot, I have to plan accordingly. Nothing too fitted or bulky is going to be a favorable option, so I have a breezy idea in mind.

For a family party that is both outdoors and a once-a-year event, the attire should fit the day. Wearing shorts, a tank and flat sandals is the best option for looking chic, battling the heat, and being dressed for any impromptu volleyball games.
