With the fall season now upon us, many of you might be wondering, “What can I add to my wardrobe to fit in with this ever-changing world of fashion?” The answer is ORANGE!
Most people wear the color orange around the Halloween season (like dressing up as a pumpkin), but this color is being seen more and more on the fashion runways.
This year during Fashion Week, designers such as D&G, Etro and Burberry Prorsum sent models strutting down the runway in this often barely seen color. Though you might be afraid to wear this color as a whole, there are different ways in which you can incorporate this vivid color into your wardrobe without looking like a carrot.
Nude: You can never go wrong with this combo! Pair an orange dress with nude pumps or even a blazer.
Black: And no, you will not look like a jack-o-lantern. Wearing an orange trench coat with added details such as a black belt will not only accentuate your waist, but will also turn the coat from yuck to sleek.
Red: Oddly enough, summer’s brights are finding their way into the fall season. An orange blouse paired with a red skirt or pants is a bold choice that would be perfect for an evening out with friends.
However you decide to wear orange, remember that it looks amazing on you if you have the confidence to wear it. Don’t be afraid to test out new colors or patterns—you’d be amazed at what you might fall in love with this fall.
