Jewel Restaneo of PixiKill may love music, but fashion is another one of her passions. This hip and edgy artist is all about merging girly and edgy pieces for an overall look that is just perfect. From lacy tanks and leather jackets to punky platform boots, Jewel is always switching up her outfits. However, while she admits that “[her] style is constantly changing,” she is pretty absolute when it comes to dresses! Frocks are this chick’s favorite piece of clothing. Of course, a look would never be complete without beauty products. “Right now I am obsessed with Maybelline One-By-One mascara,” says Jewel who is “obsessed with building up [her] lashes,” but is also into Burt’s Bees lip balm and hand lotion (she loves to moisturize!)/ While Jewel sometimes wishes she could go crazier with her makeup, she is always careful of her color choices…after all, this diva does have turquoise hair!

How would you categorize your style?
JR: My style is constantly changing! I like to make it edgy, but feminine.
What is your signature look?
I like dresses with little black booties and a leather jacket. For me, that is perfection.
What is one item of clothing you cannot live without?
JR: I would have to say a dress….I love them!
What is your beauty bag must-have?
JR: I love mascara. Right now I am obsessed with Maybelline One By One, I love building up my lashes! I have wanted to experiment with colored mascara as well, but I’m scared of looking like a freak because I already have colored hair, but I’m going to have to try it eventually!
Do you and your sister Blaire share clothes?
JR: Yes! She borrows stuff out of my closet all the time, and lately I’ve been stealing some of her clothing too! It is really convenient because we are the same size.
What is the one piece of clothing you are always borrowing from your sister?
JR: I’m always bugging her to borrow this one pair of amazing boots that she has! She’s only let me wear them once, but that doesn’t stop me from asking. They are deep blue leather and have a red zipper. They are the most amazing shoes ever!
What are your favorite shops?
JR: I love vintage shopping. I’m into American Vintage and Buffalo Exchange because I think if you have a one-of-a-kind piece, you are going to make a statement. I also find great pieces Forever 21 and H&M. I feel like the cheaper it is, the more fun you can have with your look because you can get more bang for your buck!
What is one piece of clothing you can’t stand?
JR: Crop tops...so I always like a longer shirt.
What is the best accessory?
JR: I love to wear a bunch of rings all together!
What makes your style unique?
JR: I am not too concerned with trends. I have always been one to just do my own thing. I like what I like, and I am not going to change what I wear because it is not in style.
Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
JR: Whenever I look in my closet I say, “I need to go shopping!” But when I go out, I don’t like shopping. I am probably one of very few girls who does not like going around and trying on clothing! That’s where online shopping comes in….I love shopping online.
So what are your favorite online shops?
JR: Topshop and Forever 21!
What is your favorite city to shop in?
JR: New York! That is where I find all the greatest stuff. The last time I was there I went on a shopping spree.
Where can we find you there?
JR: It is so funny, I don’t even know their names. I just try and find random places and explore everywhere and everything! There are the best little shops in New York, and I am always crazily running from one to another.
What is the best part about fashion?
JR: It identifies who you are as a person. I feel like fashion adapts to mood depending on how you are feeling that day.
