CG's Summer Bucket List

Summer is now in full swing, and everyone wants this summer to be their best one yet ... obviously. But between work, and for some people, summer classes, it’s hard to find the time to do some of the activities you had planned for your summer. So here’s what you need to do: make a summer bucket list! This way you’ll remember all of the things you wanted to do, and you’ll be more motivated to make this summer the best one yet. But what should you put on your summer bucket list? We have some ideas…

Take trip to the beach. Let’s face it, it’s the best place to relax, get your tan on and scope out the hotties with the bodies. Plan a weekend trip or even just a day trip with your boyfriend or your girls, and get out there on the sand. Whether it’s building a sand castle, reading a book or chatting with friends, margarita in hand, the beach is definitely a source of relaxation.

Watch fireworks. Although the 4th of July has already passed, there are plenty of places that still show fireworks. So look up when the closest fireworks show is near you, and find a secluded place to watch the fireworks. Bring a lawn chair, and enjoy the show! It’s also a very romantic place to bring a summer fling. You’re never too old for fireworks!

Splurge on a new bikini. When you look good, you feel good. And when you’re bearing all in a bathing suit, why not look your best? Do you recall that cute bikini you’ve been eyeing in the store? Go get it, and everyone will be eyeing you!

Stargaze.
Turn all the house lights off, and lay outside on a blanket. The best part is that it’s an amazing view, and it’s absolutely free! Be sure to be out there August 11, because there’s going to be a meteor shower!

Go on a hike.  Go with friends on a hike to someplace with a spectacular view and appreciate nature.  I suggest looking at the weather forecast before and choosing a day with good weather. Make sure you bring your sunscreen!

Have friends over for a barbecue. If you have a grill, why not show off your barbecuing talents and have some friends over? It’s a great way to get everyone to enjoy the summer together.

Make a summer 2012 playlist. Pick a bunch of your favorite songs that remind you of summer (here are some of ours!), and put them in a playlist on your iPod. It’ll be a great mix to play on the way to the beach!

Go to a concert.
Outdoor concerts in the summertime are aplenty, so why not go see your favorite artist live?

These are just our ideas ... now it’s time to make your own summer bucket list, and go out there and make this summer your best one yet!
