Foodie: How to Get the Best Deals for Food Online

College kids are world-renowned late sleepers, crazy partiers and most importantly big eaters. Hey, it’s just how we’re programmed! If you’re like me, in about one more week you’ll probably be over the campus cafeteria food.

Sure, college towns are famous for their food chains, but they typically come with a hefty price tag. So it’s no wonder that living within a budget while trying to keep your stomach from grumbling can prove to be a difficult task. The good news is most restaurant chains have email clubs where great deals can be delivered straight to your inbox.

With a little searching you can find deals on everything from Chinese to pizza. Here’s a list of popular food chains with their very own email clubs.

Chili’s Grill & Bar: Sign up to receive a coupon for free chips and queso. Other deals include free appetizers and free desert offers.

Panda Express: Special birthday deals and exclusive product coupons.

Raising Cane’s: Receive a free box combo just for signing up for the Caniac Club!

Pizza Hut: Discounts for cheese sticks and breadsticks, free stuffed pizza rollers and 2-liter soft drink deals.

Moe’s Southwest Grill: Free cups of queso for signing up and burrito deals on your birthday.

Other chains with discount clubs include Chick Fil A, Subway, Burger King, Applebee’s, Pita Pit, Jamba Juice, Panera, Jack in the Box and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Even though some of the deals only get you free appetizers or desserts, think of it this way: they’re the best part of the meal anyway! Plus, it’s way better than Ramen noodles.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up today! A word of caution though: DON’T sign up for too many or be prepared to have your inbox flooded, especially if you don’t check it regularly. I get at least two or three offers within two days from only one restaurant. It can be annoying at times, but the free food definitely makes up for it.
