Every year, Teen Vogue throws its annual Young Hollywood party for the entertainment industry’s young up-and-comers to get together, hang out, and of course, look fabulous on the red carpet! One of the young stars was "Shake It Up’s" Zendaya, who positively shimmered on the carpet in a crisp white shirt and a gold pleated maxi skirt. Her unique look stood out from the rest of the mini dresses that walked the carpet and made her one of the style stars of the evening.
Zendaya’s look is right on trend for fall, as it seamlessly combines metallics, pleats and the timeless equestrian trend. The white shirt complements and doesn’t distract from the gold maxi skirt, which is a statement piece on its own, but makes an even bigger splash when contrasted with the crisp collared shirt. She kept her accessories simple, choosing a small but sparkling cross necklace, tiny gold hoops and a few shining bracelets to accent her outfit.

To make Zendaya’s look work for everyday, swap the skirt for something simpler. A pair of gold metallic jeans will do the trick, which can be casual when paired with a white button down like hers or dressed up with something totally different for a night out. We can’t see Zendaya’s shoes in her look, but black riding boots connect with the equestrian element of the white shirt, and look great against the gold jeans. Finish this look off with a similar necklace and earrings, add a few sparkling bracelets, and you’ll be golden in no time!
The pieces in this look are simple and clean, but still pack a stylish punch. Colored jeans are great for fall, and the gold pushes them even further into trendy territory. The equestrian touches will never go out of style, and they provide the perfect contrast to the glitzy gold pants. Zendaya kept her beauty look clean and simple, with a simple smoky eye, tousled pony, and of course, a beautiful smile.
