The Best Bath & Body Products

Every busy girl’s dream is to have a quiet night in with her favorite candle burning, while reading her favorite book in the tub.

It often seems that Bath & Body Works and Lush just call out your name as you walk by, but from so many choices everywhere, you have no idea what will make your tub time extra relaxing! Never fear! College Gloss is here to give you a breakdown of the best of the best, so you can have your own spa day at home. No interruptions allowed!

Body Wash

Moisturizing: It is no surprise to any loyal fan of this product that we are choosing Dove Go Fresh Burst Body Wash With Nutrium Moisture (Amazon). The citrus scent is delicious and not overpowering. But it doesn’t matter which scent you chose because it will keep your skin hydrated and smelling yummy. Your skin will not feel dried out or coated after your shower.

Sensitive: Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash Fragrance Free ($5.84, Amazon) is our pick! Its soap-free, dye-free, hypoallergenic formula makes this our winner for sensitive skin. This wash is soothing for those with ultra sensitive and dry skin.

Acne: Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Body Wash ($6.99, Amazon) is great for you girlies who have been struggling to get rid of acne on your back and chest; this works to restore the pH balance in your body. It smells great without those pesky medicinal undertones, a scent we know you hate!

Body Care

Everyday Body Lotion: Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion ($5.59, Amazon) is our winner! We buy this again every time it runs out. Every drop of this lotion will keep your body hydrated and not irritated. If it’s not your favorite already, it will be soon.

Healing: Bio Oil Specialist Skin Care 2 oz. ($14.50, Amazon) is one of those miracle products that blows everything out of its way! It is one of our must-haves because it helps with healing everything from stretch marks, scars, burns and even an uneven complexion. If you don’t believe us, try it out.

Sunscreen: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100+ ($9.72, Amazon) is perfect for everyone, including dark-skinned beauties. This sunscreen will not leave a white cast on your skin, and it is super lightweight.

Spa Treatments

Oil: Josie Maran Moroccan Argan Body Oil ($35, Sephora) is a universal favorite for all skin types. “This luxuriously rich oil was created with Josie Maran’s key ingredient, Argan oil, an all natural and organic moisturizer proven to prevent dehydration, inflammatory, hyperpigmentation, and sebum production,” explains Josie Maran. And we could not agree more! This is one of our shower staples. It is perfect to give your skin that glow in the hot summers and dry winters.

Bubble Bath: This is a no-brainer -- we absolutely love Lush Bath Bombs ($5.99, Lush)! They are one of the cutest and most fun products! Watch these babies sizzle, then relax! Our favorite bath bomb is the Sex Bomb.

Scrub: We all need exfoliation to have glowing smooth, skin, and our all-time favorite scrub is Fresh’s Brown Sugar Body Polish 7 oz ($38, Sephora). We rave about this scrub to all our friends, and you will, too! It has the ability to both exfoliate and moisturize our skin.

Self-Tanners

Face: Our favorite is Clarins’ Intense Bronze Self Tanning Tint ($34, Sephora). It was specifically formulated for the face and décolleté. This is our winner because it is not greasy and gives your skin a beautiful color. It goes on gradual and true.

Fair/Light Skin: We know you fair-skinned ladies hate getting that orange tone with certain self tanners. For you fair beauties, we love Lorac SelfTANtalizer Body Bronzing Gradual Self-Tanner & Mitt ($34, Sephora). This product will leave you with a natural tan, no orange streaks and without that horrible, chemical smell. Yes!

Medium/Olive: For our olive-skinned beauties, who dislike the pale winter blues, we recommend Xen Tan’s Dark Lotion Rich Self Tan ($40, Xen-Tan).

Hand and Foot Care

Hand Cream: Soap & Glory’s Hand Food Hand Cream 1.7 oz ($5, Sephora) is an ultra luxurious cream for your biggest showpieces: your hands. This is an absolute favorite of ours. Its non-greasy formula and heavenly ingredients, including shea butter and macadamia oil, make our hands feel completely moisturized after a long day in class.

Foot Spray:
Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Foot Spray ($9, Ulta) is our favorite go-to product. Spray those babies before putting on flats or your nine-to-five heels, and you won’t ever have smelly feet. Kinda gross to talk about, but it works. Its minty smell deodorizes, refreshes and soothes any dryness!

Foot Cream: Bliss Foot Patrol ($18, Sephora) is an exfoliating and softening cream. If you are one of those girls who loves to wear flip flops, or even flats all year around, do not hesitate on primping your feet. Its formula, containing aloe leaf and peppermint, will leave your feet feeling extra moisturized and smelling great!

Toiletries

Shaving Cream: EOS Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream ($3.50, Target) is our favorite pick for sexy legs. It comes in so many yummy smells, and it provides your smoothed legs with moisture!

Razor: Gillette Venus Embrace ($5.99, Target) is our holy grail shaver! Although they are disposables, this razor reduces irritation and those pesky razor bumps.

Deodorant: Dove Clear Tone Clinical 24 Hour Anti-Perspirant Deodorant ($8, Soap.com). This deodorant visibly clears up and prevents dark underarms and is gentle enough for you ladies with sensitive skin!

These are our favorite picks in bath and body. Happy primping!
