At the 40th annual American Music Awards, there were plenty of fashion statements made both on the red carpet and on the stage. Some of music’s finest showed up to strut their stuff, including one of the night’s performers, Pink. The singer’s bronze Catherine Deane gown with leather detailing was a perfect match for Pink’s rocker-glam look and brought a bit of edge to the carpet.

Pink’s look suits her style, with the leather bodice adding a little attitude to the floor length gown and the neutral color keeping things classic but interesting. The bronze hue is a perfect color for fall and works well with Pink’s simple smoky eye and neutral face. Another trend Pink is working here is the metallic trend, brought into play by the leather material at the top of her gown. The leather contrasts nicely with the chiffon of the skirt, and the cutout detailing gives the dress depth and give the eye somewhere to go.

This dress pretty much screams fall and so does a brown leather jacket. Thrown over a maxi skirt that echoes the bottom half of Pink’s dress, you’ve got a fashion forward look perfect for a chilly day. A pair of brown combat boots fit right into to fall’s grunge trend, and a simple white tank underneath ties the look together. Add a pair of teardrop earrings to accessorize like Pink did, and top it all off with a cozy infinity scarf.

An easy skirt and a classic leather jacket is a super wearable look, inspired by a very polished one. Both Pink’s dress and this real-life option incorporate several fall trends, including metallics, leather and cutouts, and the color scheme is very fall-appropriate. A bronze neutral eye would work really well with this look, but you could easily do a classic smoky eye as well, much like Pink did. Whatever you’re comfortable with is the way to go!
